What a fantastic weekend for one of our very own rising stars!
12 year old Portland Swimming Club Member Celeste competed at the Melbourne Sprints over the weekend, an exciting competition where entry is earned through fierce qualifying times. To qualify for this event is an achievement in itself, and she certainly made the most of her opportunity!
Competing in three events, she delivered an outstanding performance, swimming an incredible 4 personal bests (PBs), reaching the final in two events and finishing in the top 10 in both!
These are the moments that reflect the hard work being put in at training and the exciting potential of a swimmer on the rise.
